Send your request
- Email jnheo@jnheo.com from the email address registered with ystia. Use the subject “ystia account deletion” and state that you want your account and associated personal data deleted.
- If you can no longer use that email address, contact the same address for an alternative identity check. Do not send identity documents or patient information unless we arrange an appropriate verification method.
- We will verify the request, disable your ystia access immediately after verification, and complete deletion of your active account and associated device, subscription and session data within 30 days. We confirm completion by email.
If an email app does not open, copy jnheo@jnheo.com into your email service and send the request there. Clicking the button opens an email draft; it does not itself submit a request or delete anything.
What is deleted
Your ystia account email and identity link, hospital memberships, registered notification devices, notification subscriptions and browser sessions are removed from the active ystia account store. We also initiate deletion of the corresponding authentication-provider account within 30 days. Google documents a separate period of up to 180 days to remove authentication and messaging identifiers from its live and backup systems after the relevant deletion process is initiated. Removing a server notification registration does not delete every device’s Firebase installation identifier. Android sign-out initiates that device’s token and installation cleanup, with retries when the app runs again. This provider period does not extend access to ystia. See the privacy policy.
Hospital research records
Your user account is separate from the hospital’s study records. Deleting your account does not delete a hospital’s studies or another researcher’s account. Cloud study results follow the 90-day retention policy; original DICOM and research records retained by the hospital remain under that hospital’s control. For a request concerning a patient record, contact the responsible hospital or the ystia privacy contact for help directing the request.
Device and backup copies
Sign out on your devices to clear local authenticated views and credentials. Sign out before uninstalling to clear saved credentials; removing the app may not remove every credential stored by the operating system. Signing out or uninstalling alone does not delete the server account. Limited recovery copies can remain until scheduled backup expiry; they are not available through the app.
